PROJECT ARCHITECT
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Minimum Requirements for Applicants:
- Registered as a Professional Architect or Professional Architectural Technologist with SACAP
- Minimum10 years post graduate experience fulfilling the role of project architect, performing both architectural and managerial duties, to lead and execute any scale or complexity of project from start to finish.
- Hands-on lead, manager, and project co-ordinator
- Relevant construction site experience and ability to fulfil project management role.
- Extensive knowledge and ability to detail and resolve all technical components of a building.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contractual and statutory requirements
- Work independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Advanced use of Revit
- Accountability and ownership of all duties under your scope of works
Key Responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage all aspects of a project including technical, contractual, and administrative documents of large complex projects.
- Lead and manage all interactions with the client.
- Resource management of large or multiple teams
- Manage project information.
- Resource planning and management
- Profitability target setting for projects at inception.
- Ensuring targets are met and managing risks based on deliverables.
- Mitigating risks once identified
- Execute a project independently, leading and managing the professional team and site interactions.
- Coordination of other disciplines
