It is with much sadness that we notify you of the sudden passing of Ian Alexander on 20 September 2023.
Ian has been a giant in the architectural profession. He served as a member of the PIA for 52 years, a Past President of the PIA, Practice Committee Chair, SAIA Practice Committee member and instrumental in the PROCSA, Client Architect Agreement, SAIA Practice Manual and even the JBCC Agreements, ensuring the voice of the architects are represented. Ian always said, “Only architects have total project comprehension”.
